House "Pogled" ("The View")
Beautiful nature can still be found in Europe. In the undiscovered region of Gorski Kotar you will find a biodiversity that has disappeared in most of Europe. The forest bed is covered in flowers during spring, mushrooms thrive during summer and autumn and in winter brown bears hibernate.
In this beautiful landscape we have refurbished a house, that was once owned by a doctor, to contain three apartments with views across the valleys towards Slovenia. The apartments make the most of the views and although it feels like you are separate from the world, we are only 200 m from the village centre of Skrad.
We invite you to come and stay with us in comfort and enjoy the beautiful nature of Gorski Kotar, where the opportunities for an active and peaceful holiday are endless.

Helga
During your stay you will meet Helga, your host. She is a local and knows all about the best spots to visit. She lives two houses down from the apartments and if you need any help, you can contact her.
Matilda
She is the owner of Hiking Homes and does the front end of the work like bookings and marketing.
